The Eel Ground Food Bank will be open Tuesday November 5th, 2013 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. It is located on the second floor of the Band Administration Building, 47 Church Road, Eel Ground, NB, E1V-4E6. These services are available to Social Assistance Recipients only who are residents of Eel Ground First Nation. Please use the single door located in the back to enter the building. The Food Bank is open every two weeks on the weeks opposite of Social Assistance day. If you require further information or would like to volunteer at the food bank please contact Theresa Simonson at (506) 627-4658.

There was a Peaceful gathering at the Fishery Resource Centre Lodge on the main Highway 425 (Mic Mac Road) that passes through Eel Ground First Nation on Monday afternoon, October 21st, 2013. The purpose was pass out information handouts which focused on Educating others about what issues the First Peoples of this country face each and every day and to show solidarity with Elsipogtog Chief and Council.

Please be advised that The Eel Ground Headstart will be closed on Tuesday October 15th and Wednesday October 16th, 2013.

The staff will be attending training sessions on these days.
